Solving an algebra problem, at 3 levels of inefficiency

To demonstrate the interconnected nature of mathematics, I wanted to try solving the same math problem using tools from algebra, visual math, and calculus. Unsurprisingly, I got the same answer using each method. The video below shows the specifics of my endeavor.
